Is it permissible to abandon congregational prayer due to the imam's erroneous recitation of the Qur'an, especially a clear error in Surat Al-Fatiha? And if it is not valid, should we pray behind him and then repeat the prayer individually to avoid discord? And does this apply to silent prayers?

Congregational prayer in the mosque is obligatory unless there is a valid excuse. It is not permissible to pray behind someone who makes a mistake in reciting Al-Fatihah that changes its meaning, except for someone who makes a similar mistake. The Imam who makes such a mistake must be taught. If he does not respond, the responsible authorities must be informed to dismiss him. Prayer behind an Imam who makes a mistake that changes the meaning is not valid. Therefore, it is not permissible to repeat it. Rather, what is obligatory is to inform people that prayer behind him is invalid and to seek another mosque. It is not permissible to abandon congregational prayer entirely.
