Is the suitor entitled to retrieve the full dowry and its accessories (such as the wedding car, gifts, engagement ring, wedding ring, and jewelry set) after the annulment of the engagement and the fiancée's refusal to complete the marriage, knowing that they say the engagement ring is the right of the girl?

If the wife requests a Khul' (dissolution of marriage) before consummation, after the husband has contracted with her, paid her a Mahr (dowry), and gifted her presents, then the husband has the right to reclaim the Mahr and its accessories according to the agreement. However, if the husband divorces her before consummation without stipulating the forfeiture of any part of the Mahr, then she is entitled to half of the Mahr. The gifts that the husband gave her due to the marriage should be returned to him. The ruling concerning the "seeing ring" (khātam al-shūfah) is the same as the ruling for all other gifts from the suitor.
