What should I do regarding my wife who screams and her condition changes during ruqyah (Islamic exorcism), given my concern for her self-harm, especially after her father intervened with a shaykh who uses jinn and wants to continue his treatment, which I consider to be an act of disbelief (kufr)?

The remedy for demonic possession lies in ruqyah (exorcism) prescribed by the Quran and Sunnah, supplication, adherence to acts of obedience, and abstaining from sins. It is not permissible to seek help from a raqi (exorcist) who claims to be commissioned by angels or who gives animal remains, as this is charlatanry and dealing with devils. Islamic law has forbidden seeking ruqyah from sorcerers and charlatans.
