What are the times when prayers are answered, and what is the supplication for relief from worry, distress, and calamities?

There are many times when supplications are answered, among them: between the Adhan and the Iqamah, at the time of breaking the fast, the hour of response on Friday, and during the last third of the night. Many hadiths have been reported concerning the supplication for distress, among them: "There is no god but Allah, the Almighty, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the Great Throne; there is no god but Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the earth and Lord of the Noble Throne." And: "O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant... that You make the Great Qur'an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness and the dispeller of my worries." And: "O Allah, Your mercy I hope for, so do not entrust me to my soul for the blink of an eye, and correct for me all my affairs, there is no god but You." You should also recite the supplication of Dhun-Nun.
