Is it obligatory for a girl to make up the first three days of Ramadan that coincided with her first onset of puberty and during which she was menstruating?

A woman must make up for the days she missed fasting at the beginning of her menstrual period. A woman is considered to be menstruating if she sees blood at the age of nine or older, provided the blood is not less than the minimum duration of menstruation or more than its maximum. A menstruating woman is required to make up for missed fasts, but not for missed prayers. If she delays making up those days until the following Ramadan begins without a valid excuse, she is required to both make up the fasts and pay an expiation for each day. Thus, she would fast three days and pay three expiations.
