What is the ruling on the Farewell circumambulation for a menstruating woman if she is unable to perform it before her departure?

The Tawaf al-Ifadah (circumambulation of outpouring) is one of the pillars of Hajj. Its validity is conditioned upon ritual purity from menstruation and postnatal bleeding, according to the majority of scholars, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying to 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Perform all the rituals of Hajj except circumambulating the House until you become pure."

A menstruating woman or one in postnatal bleeding who has not performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah must wait until she becomes pure and then perform theaf, and her companions should wait with her.

However, if waiting is not possible due to compelling circumstances or great hardship, she may use a pad, perform the circumambulation, and offer a sheep as a sacrifice. This is the view of a group of scholars who cite the Almighty's saying: "So fear Allah as much as you are able" and "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity." They also argue that conditions and obligations are waived due to incapacitation, a view adopted by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, his student Ibn al-Qayyim, and some contemporary scholars like Shaykh Ibn Baz.
