What is my reward for memorizing the Quran?

Whoever memorizes the Quran and acts upon it, Allah will reward him with a great reward. He will ascend in Paradise according to how much he recites, as indicated by the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "It will be said to the companion of the Quran: 'Recite and ascend, and recite as you used to recite in the world, for your rank is at the last verse you recite.'" The companion of the Quran here refers to one who has memorized it by heart. The memorizer of the Quran will be with the noble and righteous scribes. And whoever recites the Quran and struggles with it will have two rewards. Furthermore, the Quran will intercede for its companion on the Day of Judgment.
