What is the share of each heir from the deceased's inheritance, knowing that the heirs are: a father, a wife, and a grandmother (father's mother)?

If the heirs are limited to those mentioned, the wife receives one-fourth due to the absence of a direct descendant, the grandmother receives one-sixth, and the remainder goes to the father. Thus, the inheritance is divided into twelve shares: three for the wife, two for the grandmother, and seven for the father. It must be noted that matters of inheritance are complex and sensitive, and a mere fatwa (definition) is insufficient. Rather, the matter must be referred to the Sharia (definition) courts for investigation and verification that there are no other heirs, wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
