What is the authenticity of the narration attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, which the Ash'aris used as evidence, and in which it states: "O company of Jews, listen to me and do not mind not asking anyone other than me. Indeed, my Lord, the Almighty and All-Majestic, is the First, who did not emerge from nothing (meaning He has no beginning), nor is He intermingled with anything (meaning He does not indwell in anything), nor is He as the imagination dictates, nor is He a phantom to be sought out (meaning He is not a body), nor is He veiled so as to be contained (meaning no place contains Him), nor did He come into existence after not having been"?
