Does intentionally and purposefully inserting semen, resulting from masturbation, into the vagina of an unmarriageable woman constitute zina (fornication/adultery)? And does the perpetrator of such an act incur the prohibition from marrying a chaste woman and the obligation to marry an unchaste woman, as stated in Surat An-Nur?

Artificial insemination is forbidden, but it does not carry the same ruling as adultery in every respect. Both are haram (forbidden) and require repentance. The child born from it is not attributed to the donor of the sperm. It differs from adultery in that the perpetrator is not subject to the prescribed punishment (hadd), nor are the prohibitions related to marriage to a chaste woman that apply to an adulterer applicable in his case.
