How is the estate of a deceased son, who owns a rented house and a small amount of money, to be divided among his father, mother, and two brothers? And is it permissible to give an ongoing charity from his money for him, to build a mosque, with the approval of the heirs?

If the deceased passed away and left behind a father, a mother, and two brothers, then the mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of the brothers. The father receives the remainder by way of ta’sib (agnatic inheritance). The brothers receive nothing, as they are excluded by the father. As for giving charity on behalf of the deceased with the consent of the heirs, it is permissible, and its reward reaches the deceased.
