Does the ruling on wiping over socks for a resident differ if she will be performing missed obligatory prayers on the same day in addition to the current prayers?

The authentic Sunnah indicates that the duration for wiping over the leather socks (khuffayn) is one day and one night for a resident, and three days and nights for a traveler, as narrated by Imam Muslim from Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), and from Khuzaimah ibn Thabit as recorded by At-Tirmidhi. Therefore, the consideration for the duration of wiping is based on time, not on the number of prayers, whether the prayers are performed on time or made up, because of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) statement and his timing for wiping.
