You must repent to Allah from usurious loans, because it is one of the gravest sins. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses. If repentance is made, there is no harm in residing in a house built with a usurious loan, or renting it out, or using it as a place of work, as ruled by the Permanent Committee.
