Does the son's reading from his deceased father's Mushaf earn the father reward, or is the Mushaf considered part of the inheritance?

Inheriting a copy of the Qur’an is considered an ongoing charity from which the deceased benefits after death, due to the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Indeed, among the good deeds and merits that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge he taught and spread, a righteous child he left behind, a copy of the Qur’an he bequeathed, a mosque he built, a house he built for wayfarers, a river he caused to flow, or charity he gave from his wealth during his health and lifetime; these will reach him after his death." The copy of the Qur’an left by the father is considered an inheritance to be divided among all his heirs.
