Is it permissible to spend the night in Al-Aziziyah Al-Janubiyah on the night of Eid and the days of Tashreeq, and not to spend the night in Muzdalifah and Mina, in order to avoid hardship, without incurring a penalty (dam)?

Staying overnight in Muzdalifah and Mina is among the obligations of Hajj according to the majority of scholars. Failing to do so necessitates a compensatory sacrifice (dam) to be distributed among the poor of the Haram. Sufficient overnight stay in Mina is achieved by spending most of the night there, and one must be diligent in performing all the rituals completely. Nothing is required from one who misses staying overnight in Mina on the night of Yawm al-Tarwiyah (the night of the ninth day).
