The answer

If semen is discharged during sleep, a ritual bath () is obligatory upon waking. This ruling applies to both men and women alike. As for the bedding soiled by semen, it is recommended to wash it if wet, and to rub it if dry. The remaining trace does not harm, as semen is considered pure according to the preponderant opinion. The discharge of semen indicates puberty and usually does not cease unless sexual desire diminishes and carnal appetite decreases in old age.
