The answer

Islam does not recognize any relationship between a man and a non-mahram woman except within the framework of a lawful marriage. If love enters one's heart unintentionally or without violating the limits of Allah, there is no sin in it, provided there is piety and adherence to boundaries. In this case, marriage is the best option, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is nothing better for two who love each other than marriage." However, if a person brings this love upon himself through unlawful gazing, forbidden meetings, or illicit correspondence, then he is sinful in his love.
