Is love forbidden or permissible, and does it have specific limits for women, and how should a wise Muslim woman deal with it?

The proper conduct for one afflicted by love is to fear Allah and lower the gaze until a means for marriage to the beloved is found. Otherwise, one should turn their heart away so as not to transgress the limits of Allah and neglect His obligations.
