Is merely the intention to repent considered remorse, and how can one feel remorse?

Ibn 'Aqil previously mentioned in "Al-Irshad" by Ibn Muflih, in "Al-Adab ash-Shar'iyyah," that repentance is not valid if the penitent mentions the sin with ease and satisfaction, without his heart being disturbed or his state changing, and without avoiding its mention in gatherings. Whoever does this, his repentance is not considered valid. His proof for this is that if someone apologizing for an injustice is laughing and joyful when mentioning his injustice, it indicates his lack of remorse and indifference, and he is treated like a scoffer.
