The answer

The Hanafis mentioned that Eid prayer is not valid without the Imam or his deputy, and whoever misses the prayer with the Imam does not have to make it up. As for Eid al-Adha prayer, if it is not prayed on the first day due to an excuse or otherwise, it can be prayed on the second or third day and is considered performance (adaa'), and some say it is a make-up (qadaa'). Some scholars mentioned the desirability of making up Eid prayer individually or in congregation at any time.
