Can a person's feeling of rejection, misinterpretation of their actions, loss of self-confidence, inability to settle in their job, and reaching a state of failure and frustration, be the result of sorcery or an evil eye from a resentful friend?

This world is a place of trial, and whoever accepts it will attain Allah's pleasure, while whoever resents it will face resentment. It is recommended to be patient, seek Allah's help, and supplicate frequently, especially with the supplication of the distressed: "O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not abandon me to myself for the blink of an eye, and set all my affairs right; there is no god but You." Sins and acts of disobedience are also causes of trials, and repentance and seeking forgiveness remove them. Psychological pressures can cause doubt, so consulting trustworthy individuals is important. Trials may also be due to the evil eye or magic, and ruqyah (Islamic exorcism) is recommended, along with maintaining adhkar (remembrances) and obligatory prayers, and being careful to avoid sins. The fundamental state of a Muslim is safety, and it is not permissible to accuse someone of practicing magic without clear proof.
