What is the ruling on intentionally aborting a fetus twice, knowing that the first time was eight months after a C-section delivery, and the second time was a year and a half after the first abortion?

It is permissible to abort the fetus in its first stage, before the completion of forty days, if there is a valid reason or to avert an actual or anticipated harm, such as the harm caused by successive pregnancies following a Cesarean section. However, aborting it without an excuse is not permissible and requires repentance and seeking forgiveness. Nothing is obligatory with an abortion before forty days, unless the pregnancy has passed the nutfah (sperm drop) stage and entered the second forty-day period, in which case a ghussah (blood-money for a fetus) becomes obligatory.
