What is the ruling on a daughter who does not visit her mother, who was raised by another family since childhood, while the mother visits her daughter, but her daughter does not visit her mother?

Filial piety is one of the greatest acts of obedience, especially towards the mother, as emphasis on showing kindness to her has been mentioned more than to the father. This daughter who has cut ties with her mother has wronged herself, disobeyed her Lord, severed her ties of kinship, and committed a major sin. It is not permissible for her to cut ties with her mother, even if her mother left her when she was young or neglected her duties towards her. She is in grave danger if she does not repent. She must be advised and reminded of the gravity of her sin and the necessity of promptly repenting, visiting her mother, honoring her, and showing kindness to her.
