Is it permissible in Islam for the lawyer to buy what the questioner intended to buy, and agreed with the agent to purchase it?

A distinction must be made between the validity and permissibility of a sale, and fulfilling a promise and offering sincere advice. It is forbidden for a Muslim to sell over the sale of his brother if an agreement has been reached between the two parties on the price and the commodity. However, selling or bidding before a firm commitment is not forbidden, such as during negotiations. If no agreement has been reached between the inquirer and the sales agent, it is not forbidden for someone other than the inquirer to bid over his bid. As for the second issue, which is the lawyer's commitment by agreement with the homeowner, fulfilling a promise is highly recommended, but it is not obligatory according to the majority of jurists.
