Is it permissible to sell products online that the seller does not own, then purchase them after the customer's order and sell them to him?

If what takes place between you and the buyer is merely a promise to sell, and not an actual sale, and the actual sale does not occur until you have taken possession of the goods, then this is permissible according to Islamic law.
