What is the ruling on money taken from one's father without his knowledge, and is it permissible to consider it a debt to be repaid later, and will repentance and supplication be accepted in this case?
It is forbidden for a daughter to take from her father's money without his permission, unless the father does not provide her with the obligatory maintenance while he is capable; in that case, she may take what suffices her in a reasonable manner. If the girl takes money exceeding her obligatory maintenance, she must repent and return the money or seek forgiveness from her father. The money remains a debt upon her until she repays it. Sincere repentance does not negate the obligation to restore rights or seek absolution from their owners when capable. If she is unable to do so, Allah will accept her repentance and satisfy the owner of the right on the Day of Judgment. Accepted repentance lifts the punishment.
