What should I do in light of the repeated divorces, my husband's abandonment of me, and my suffering from his actions which include suspicion and illicit relationships, and his refusal to abandon polytheistic practices, while I am far from my family and relatives?

If the husband speaks with a foreign woman, he has committed a wrongdoing and an abomination, and this is even more egregious because he is married, and it constitutes ingratitude for the blessing of his wife. While it is true that he is free in his actions, he must not overstep the boundaries of Allah and incur His wrath. The wife should be patient and pray often for his rectification, continue to advise him gently, and remind him of Allah. His abandonment of his wife is wrong if there is no legitimate Sharia-compliant justification for it. The wife must repent if her opening of her husband's mobile phone was with the intention of tracking his faults, as this is forbidden spying.
