Who is Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Salihi al-Shami, and what are the most prominent milestones in his life from birth to death?

Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Salihi al-Shami was a historian from the tenth century Hijri. His relatively later era allowed him access to books of history and biographies, so he authored a massive encyclopedia on the Prophet's biography called "Subul al-Huda wa al-Rashad fi Sirat Khair al-Ibad" (The Paths of Guidance and Rectitude in the Biography of the Best of Servants). He passed away in the year 943 AH.
