1- What is the ruling on conducting a marriage contract in Ramadan, whether at night or during the day?

A marriage contract is permissible in Ramadan (definition) and other months, both day and night, unless the person is in a state of ihram (definition) for Hajj or Umrah (definition). An exception to this permissibility is the time of Jumu'ah prayer, as Allah has forbidden engagement in trade after the call to it, and scholars have analogized to this all other contracts, such as marriage, that distract from attending Jumu'ah. Scholars have differed regarding the annulment of contracts concluded during Jumu'ah prayer, and the correct view is that they should be annulled as a deterrent.
