How can I confess to a girl I don't know my desire to marry her?

Allah Almighty commanded believers to lower their gaze, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) warned against a sudden glance. Islamic law does not permit looking at non-mahram women except out of necessity, such as for a marriage proposal. In this case, it is sunnah for the suitor to look at the woman to the extent that it encourages him to marry her, after which he can make his decision. He must be wary of the whispers of Satan. It is not necessary to inform the fiancée directly; rather, she can be informed through her mahrams. It is important to consider the woman's religiosity and character.
