When is food forbidden? What is the ruling on the marriage of the father of a girl's maternal uncle to her? And what is the ruling on stealing something that is inherently forbidden, such as intoxicants?

Food becomes unlawful (haram) if it is among what Allah has forbidden of edibles (such as pork, carrion, all birds of prey with talons, and beasts of prey with fangs), or drinks (such as alcohol and blood), or if it is from impurities like insects, or harmful to its consumer like poisons, or acquired through an unlawful act (such as fortune-telling and fornication), or purchased with unlawful money (like the price of usury and alcohol), or taken by force or theft.

The paternal uncle of the father is a forbidden (mahram) relative to his grandchildren, both male and female, by consensus. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to marry her father's paternal uncle.
