What is the ruling on eating and drinking in the homes of my female relatives, such as my paternal aunt and maternal aunt? Is it obligatory to ask permission to consume it? And is it permissible to eat it if the husband does not consent to that?

It is forbidden to consume people's wealth without their consent. Consent can be explicit or implicit (customary). Customary permission is like verbal permission. Therefore, it is permissible to eat from the homes of relatives and friends without explicit permission, regarding things that are customarily overlooked.

As for eating food provided by a wife without her husband's permission, if the food belongs to the husband, it is not permissible to eat it if he shows his disapproval, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A woman should not spend anything from her husband's house except with her husband's permission." However, if the food belongs to the wife, she has the right to dispose of her own property, and it is permissible to eat from it.
