Does it please Allah to stop inviting a brother who shows resentment toward advice and claims disbelief or hypocrisy when directed to prayer in the mosque?

If repeatedly advising a brother leads to his alienation, then one should stop doing so. However, this does not mean abandoning his guidance entirely. It is advisable to choose suitable circumstances for his admonition, strive for a good approach, and make efforts to endear him to the advisor and to the scholars of the Sunnah (definition).
