The answer

Divorce during menstruation is considered valid by the majority of scholars. If the husband takes his wife back before the completion of her (waiting period), she returns to his marital bond, and the second divorce is also valid if it occurs after the reconciliation. The iddah ends with purity from the third menstrual cycle after the divorce, or by giving birth if pregnant, or by the passage of three months for a woman who does not menstruate. If the iddah expires before reconciliation, the wife becomes irrevocably divorced and is not permissible for him except with a new marriage contract. In this case, the second divorce is not valid. Re-marriage is possible with a new contract after the iddah has expired.
