Will he who was afflicted with an inclination toward the same sex, but did not commit the sin, enter Paradise? Will Allah forgive whoever committed the act of the people of Lut and then repented? Is it permissible to masturbate for one who has abstained from it for a long time? Can a person endure not ejaculating forever?
Allah does not hold a servant accountable for mere heart inclination as long as they do not speak of sin or commit a disobedience, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my Ummah for what they whisper to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." The act of sodomy is a grave matter; its corruption is second only to the corruption of disbelief in ugliness, and the punishment for its perpetrators is among the most severe. Despite the enormity of this sin, Allah accepts the repentance of a remorseful servant. Allah Almighty says: "Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants?" Indeed, Allah replaces the bad deeds of the penitent with good deeds. Allah Almighty says: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds - for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones." Masturbation is forbidden. Patience in refraining from emitting semen unlawfully is possible and obligatory, and it may be emitted in a permissible way through wet dreams.
