How is the inheritance divided between the deceased's three full-nephews and one full-niece?

If the deceased left no heirs except his full sister and his full brother's sons, then his full sister receives half as a prescribed share (fard), based on the Almighty's saying: "If a man dies, leaving no child but a sister, she will have half of what he leaves." The remainder goes to the full brother's sons by virtue of residuary inheritance ('asabah), based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "Give the prescribed shares to those entitled to them, and whatever remains is for the closest male relative." Thus, the inheritance is divided into six shares: three for the full sister, and one share for each son of the full brother. It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia (definition) courts due to the potential presence of wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights.
