The answer

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding throwing pebbles: "It neither catches game nor defeats an enemy; rather, it breaks a tooth and puts out an eye."

It is understood from the Ahadith and the words of the scholars that it is permissible to shun the people of innovation, the dissolute, and those who constantly oppose the Sunnah. The prohibition of shunning for more than three days is specific to those who shun for worldly matters or for personal gratification, not for the people of innovation and the like. The majority of scholars have held that one should not extend greetings of peace to an innovator or a dissolute person.

As for shunning daughters: if they assist their mother in her disobedience and corruption, and you are certain of this, then they share the mother's ruling, and it is permissible to shun them. Otherwise, it is not permissible to shun them.
