Is the healing mentioned in the Hadith, "Indeed, Kohl made of ithmid brightens the vision and grows the hair," achieved by using adulterated ithmid kohl, given the unavailability of the original?

Ithmid (antimony) is considered the best of kohl eyeliners; it brightens the eyesight and promotes hair growth. There is no text in the books of the scholars regarding adulterated ithmid. However, it is hoped that benefit will be gained from that which contains a significant proportion of ithmid, especially if what is mixed with it is another natural kohl. It has been established that kohl in general is beneficial for eyesight and possesses other qualities, even if it is not ithmid.
