What is the ruling regarding a wife who no longer wishes to continue in Islam, has stopped performing prayers, has removed her hijab, and has stated that she does not care about entering Hellfire? Is it permissible for the husband to be in seclusion with her or to remain with her in the same house?

If the wife chooses disbelief and slanders Islam, she is considered an apostate disbeliever. It is not permissible for the husband to keep her, based on the Almighty's saying: "and do not hold on to the bonds of disbelieving women." He must advise her, and if she does not repent, he should separate from her. If there is an Islamic judiciary, her case should be referred to it for her to be asked to repent. If she does not repent, the punishment for apostasy, which is execution, should be carried out against her, based on the Prophet's saying: "Whoever changes his religion, kill him." However, if there is no Islamic rule or judiciary available, he must completely separate from her and not live with her.
