Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to supplicate to Allah that she marries the Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Paradise?

There is no impediment to supplicating Allah to accompany the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in Paradise. Indeed, Rabi'a ibn Ka'b al-Aslami requested to accompany the Messenger in Paradise, whereupon the Messenger guided him to assist himself in that by prostrating frequently. The rule is that Allah grants the people of Paradise everything they desire, and there is no impediment for a woman to marry in the Hereafter whomever she loves, even if it were the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. This indicates a high aspiration, but this supplication should be accompanied by righteous deeds. For Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, once passed by a man supplicating for the wide-eyed houris while he was engaging in idle play, so he said to him: "You are a wretched suitor for the people." And Allah promised His Prophet the Praiseworthy Station and commanded him to perform the night vigil for that purpose.
