What is the ruling regarding ordinary people giving lessons to congregations when they are not proficient in the language, cannot differentiate between authentic and weak hadiths, and sometimes cause commotion among the people?

Teaching the Qur’an and Sunnah and inviting to goodness carry immense reward, and it is an obligation upon Muslims. The sacred texts have emphasized the importance of conveying knowledge to people, such as the Almighty’s saying: "And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good," and the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Convey from me, even if it is a single verse." Therefore, inviting to Allah and teaching people goodness are among the greatest acts of closeness [to Allah]. However, the caller and teacher must possess knowledge and insight into what they are inviting to, purify their intention for Allah, choose beneficial topics, and verify the authenticity of hadiths and statements. Whoever does so will be on goodness and righteousness. As for instigating problems and causing division among Muslims, it is impermissible.
