Is the death of pigs one of the major signs of the Hour, and will our master Jesus, peace be upon him, descend after their death?

There is no evidence that the death of pigs is one of the major signs of the Hour. Rather, the correct understanding is that among the major signs of the Hour is the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him) at the end of time, and his killing of them. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "By Him in whose hand is my soul, the son of Mary will soon descend among you as a just judge. He will break the cross, kill the pigs, abolish the jizyah, and money will become abundant."
