What is the spiritual meaning of circumambulating the Kaaba?

Circumambulation (Tawaf) around the Kaaba was legislated for the establishment of the remembrance of Allah Almighty. As stated in the Hadith: "Indeed, Tawaf around the Kaaba, Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and the stoning of the Jamarat were all legislated for the establishment of the remembrance of Allah." The remembrance of Allah is an act of worship that refines the soul, purifies it from sins and polytheism, and adorns it with piety. Allah has made piety the desired outcome of worship, as He Almighty says: "O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous."
