Does the ant speak?

Ants speak, as mentioned in the story of Sulayman's ant in the Holy Quran: "Until, when they came upon the Valley of the Ants, an ant said, 'O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not.'" Allah特 bestowed upon Sulayman the understanding of the speech of ants and birds. The Hadith also indicates that the ant in its hole supplicates for those who teach people good.
