What is the ruling on praying behind a Sufi who claims that the torment of hellfire will turn into sweetness, and that all nations will enter Paradise before death, and that Iblis is a monotheist, and he does not perfect his prayer and rushes through it, and claims that the Imam bears the responsibility for the one praying behind him?

The issues believed by the mentioned Imam are superstitions, and their invalidity is clear in the Book of Allah the Almighty:

1. The transformation of Hellfire's torment into sweetness: The torment of Hell is severe and unending for those who die upon disbelief, as Allah the Almighty says: "The fire of Allah, kindled, Which mounts [or penetrates] the hearts. Indeed, it shall be closed upon them In extended columns." and "Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment."

2. The recompense of all nations in the Hereafter: People are of two kinds: the felicitous who enter Paradise and the wretched who enter Hell. Not all nations will enter Paradise, as Allah the Almighty says: "Then among them will be the wretched and the felicitous."

3. Iblis: He is characterized by the most severe types of disbelief, which is the disbelief of obstinacy and denial. He calls to disbelief, as Allah the Almighty says: "And Satan was to his Lord ungrateful." and "He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze."

4. The Imam's inability to pray properly or establish its pillars: This invalidates his prayer and the prayer of those behind him. His statement that the Imam bears all the pillars of prayer on behalf of the congregant is invalid. Rather, he bears the congregant's oversight of the Sunnah acts of prayer and the recitation of Al-Fatiha only, according to some scholars.

Therefore, prayer behind this Imam is not valid if his condition is as described.
