Is a person considered a hypocrite if he prays and recites the Qur'an but commits many sins and transgressions, and sometimes cannot achieve khushu' (devotional humility) in prayer?

Hypocrisy is of two types: conceptual (major disbelief) and practical (its perpetrator is a Muslim). Sins are branches of disbelief, but they do not make a Muslim a major hypocrite; rather, he has a branch of hypocrisy commensurate with the sin. A Muslim must distance himself from sins, and if he falls into them, he must immediately repent from them.
