Is it permissible to work in a cigarette production factory, or in a clothing factory that produces sportswear and underwear for women and imports some materials from Israel, for the purpose of earning a livelihood, helping family, and getting married?

Working in a factory that produces tobacco is forbidden, as it is proscribed. Similarly, working in a factory that produces women's sportswear that is used in a forbidden manner is also prohibited. This is because anything used for unlawful purposes, or predominantly assumed to be so, is forbidden to manufacture and sell. "And whoever fears Allah — He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."
