Is it permissible to work in a factory that produces sweets and tobacco, provided one only works in the sweets section?

If the work is limited to the sweets section and does not involve tobacco, then it is permissible, though it is better to avoid it to steer clear of doubtful matters, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever avoids doubtful matters has safeguarded his religion and his honor." As for working in the manufacture of tobacco or assisting in it, it is not permissible due to its involvement in cooperating in sin.
