The claim that the actions of mercy, sustenance, forgiveness, and judgment are exclusively confined to Allah, the Exalted, is devoid of proof, for Allah Almighty has reported these actions concerning His created servants. However, Allah, the Exalted, has clarified the superiority of His Self and His attributes over all others. Thus, He is the Best of Preservers, the Most Merciful of those who show mercy, the Best of Planners (or schemers), the Best of Helpers, the Best of Providers, the Best of Deciders, the Best of Judges, the Best of Openers, the Best of Forgivers, the Best of Inheritors, and the Best of Those Who Send Down.

Allah is greater than everything, and nothing is equal to Him in the attributes of perfection. Some attributes are exclusive to Him, and some involve His superiority over others.
