What is the ruling on the prayer of one afflicted with frequent and continuous flatulence during prayer time, which spoils his prayer and his devotion, and is his prayer considered valid despite his leaving the prayer to perform ablution several times?

If you are certain that what you are experiencing is not waswasa (whispers/obsessive thoughts), then your situation is one of two cases:

1. If you suffer from continuous wind (sals al-reeh): meaning you do not find sufficient time for purification and prayer without passing wind. In this case, perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun, and pray the obligatory and supererogatory prayers. What exits from you will not harm your prayer. You are not required to attend the mosque for fear of disturbing other worshippers, and you will be rewarded for your intention. 2. If you do not suffer from continuous discharge: You must wait for a time when you know you can pray with valid purification without anything exiting. Then pray at that time. Congregational prayer is not obligatory for you in this case, because the condition of purification takes precedence.

The matter is easy, and your prayers, God willing, will be accepted if you fulfill what is obligatory upon you. There is no sin upon you for what has passed due to your ignorance. However, if you prayed anything without the prescribed purification, then according to the majority of scholars, you must make up those prayers.
